Well, of course we need the Rosy-faced lovebird (Agapornis roseicollis) to feature. This adorable flighted dinosaur’s family date from ~1.95 million years ago…from Kromdraai, nogal. And it’s only appropriate, given that 2016’s Pantone colour of the year will be rosy quartz (which is the state mineral of South Dakota). Though these peachy petite parakeet pretties look good in any colour, even in black and white. (What are the other African names?)
