One Day in Kristiansand

My short sojourn to Kristiansand included a walk through the city, a visit to some art galleries and a sea journey to Lillesand.  I was fortunate to see artwork by Kjell Nupen, some  suitable sand castles, the impressive new Kilden Performing Arts Centre, and some of Edvard Munch‘s early charcoal sketches; to mention just a few attractions. Photography was not allowed inside the museum I visited, but I came across a great resource yesterday via Open Culture: 65 Modern Art Books Online for free perusal, which includes one on Munch.

Well: Back in Canada, I wish you all a Happy Canada Day!
